I’m Asiya, an aspiring comedy writer and British Expat mama living in Dubai, UAE.
Motherhood out here is very different to where I grew up in London, so this is all you need to know and laugh with. I myself have three offsprings, Bubba (7), Bambi (5) and Bubbles(2), who are just as funny as their mother. haha.

Mamabasic was started in order to help me fight loneliness as an expat in a new country and to blog my journey through words and humour. I’d love other struggling mums to not feel alone in this crazy journey of motherhood and to laugh along carelessly, whilst getting an insight of life in Dubai.
